basically they put an innocent man in jail for 7 and a half years.. because a SIX YEAR OLD said that he looked like thesuspect.. the cops didnt even do any research on the case or do investigations they just immediately believed the six year old... and after the wife finallygot her husband out of jail they got a divorce because it had been too long..

Seen this last night too. Dude allegedly murdered his mother in law. They locked him up on account of his 6 year old niece saying that he looked like thesuspect despite the fact that the DNA evidence didn't match his. And they kept him locked up even after the niece said it probably wasn't him 4 yearsafter his conviction. SMH at police for doing spotty investigating.

In all fairness, the police just arrest and do the investigations. IF there is a spotty investigation or if they didn't do a proper arrest, there is everyopportunity for the next-step in the legal system (attorneys, DA's, prosecutors, judges, civil-rights unions, etc) to correct the injustice. More than justthe 'police' failed in this case...
