americans? you think people in every other country are stopping everything and holding candlelight vigils? atrocities happen all day everyday in the world since the beginning of time but there was no internet or media to publicize it.  with 24/7 news channels and instant internet news broadcasting this sh*t all day that makes people think the world is ending.

All I have to say:

The UN is not invading Libya for America like most people are seeing it as. America outlined the way to battle through a depression with Iraq, and Europe has followed suit. My father is a career Army personnel who was a shredded paper away from being a General. When it comes to rights, he is absolutely liberal, but when it comes to voting he is absolutely conservative. He is Republican because he understands the truth, and feels that they reflect the truth moreso than Democrats.  The light is there, but only if you can see it.

The world needs Sheep.

But think about this, how many news channels are actually reliable, how is the media reliable? We saw how the oil spill in the Gulf was handled with the photoshops of fake images, Fox news is always drawing fear out of people with lies and even the local news channels do small segments of disasters filled with horrifying images just to get people to say, "wow that's bad *changes channel to Black Exploitation Television". It is all a set-up so they can get views, money and security for themselves while the masses are left to do whatever they can with the INTENDED partial info given to them.

Aware but detached. Many are just apathetic. It's ingrained in the psyche of many of the upcoming generations. Those who don't know at all are probably simply incredibly self-involved on various levels.

but, i came from a 3rd world country and have experienced struggle, corruption, poverty, etc. 1st hand.. hence my stance on all these BS youtube vids & "researchers".

yes, our country is in a bad state... but economic collapse? come on.
