The RETRO Gaming Thread!

These things go for a pretty penny on ebay these days. Best bet is to find a CRT at a yard sale.
Oh for sure. I've been seeing the prices go up steadily the last few years. You hardly ever see crt televisions on people's lawns or curbside waiting to be thrown away or given away.

I picked up few free (and working) Trinitrons and stashed them away in my storage unit for future use. My nephew is already asking me for one once he gets his own room so I'm glad I thought ahead

used to play Road Rash on it for countless hours.

Road Rash was sooo much fun! I rented it many times for the Genesis and eventually got my hands on the PS1 Greatest Hits edition.

I played it so much for so long that I'd close my eyes before going to sleep and I'd see the road winding from side to side. I'd open them up immediately on some "whoa, what the hell was that?"

Found a pic of the CRT I had

I remember them stickers lol

I used to put them on the sides of the TV for some reason. Didn't even matter what the sticker was advertising

robpzee612 robpzee612 you gonna get another one? Or nah?

You could find some 13-19 inch LCD joints from the mid 2000's since they're light weight (easy to carry), don't take much space and typically have every connection needed for older consoles. I scooped up Panasonic like that for $10

I have a PS3 super slim. I have 10 games at the moment, all of which perfectly. Bought Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition the other day, no scratches or any other kind of damage, look new. The game installs but after the revolver shots the screen goes black. I’ve deleted and reinstalled multiple times, and also rebuilt the database multiple times. A couple of times it did get to start screen but nothing after you press start. Once it made to the “Exodus America” intro but it was freezing up until completely froze. John never got off the boat lol

Naw I have to constantly put the clear weather cheat on. Plus the camera cut and map is straight doo doo.
