LaurynHillTheMiseducationofLaurynHillalbumcover.jpg

Both of these albums changed the Game. With the Score You have a group that sings and raps without favoring one more than the other and being very innovativeand original. Then on the Miseducation you have to my knowledge one of the first female rappers than didnt appear half naked or to masculine and keep it soft, street, and educated at the same time.

So which one had more impact.

The Miseducation had more impact. First really successful singer and rapper in music. If Lauryn was really focused she'd easily have been the undisputedQueen of this $@!!

Although hip hop wise The Score was the better album.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill >>>>>>>

I don't think there will be another album like this, quality wise & singles wise.

The Score is one of the greatest albums ever. Lauryn's album is great too, but without The Score, I don't know if The Miseducation gets made.

I think "The Score" had more of an impact on the music industry. I don't think anyone thought the Fugees would get to the status they reachedafter that album

As far as which album was better overall, I'd agree Miseducation. But the question was which had more impact, correct? With out The Score, there would beno Miseducation album, so as far as impact goes, I'd say The Score.

The Score had a bigger impact IMO.

The Score was a great album and got people to pay attention who otherwise wouldn't.

That set up the success of the better album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

This.

The Score had an impact on the hip hop community solely...The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill had an impact on pretty much all music genres.

The number 1 single from the Score was an R&B song......

The Score did set up for her debut to be successful but she took it somewhere else wit that album....the Miseducation broke genre barriers....

initial impact, it's probably the The Score since it did push Lauryn's fame and it offered a new angle inhip-hop.

but imo, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill resonated an impact that superseded boundaries.

i mean, she won 5 Grammys in ONE night, first woman to do so, and it's still the most won by a female in a single night.

as far as sales, The Score is 6x Plat but TMoL went DIAMOND.

i can go on with the recognition it pushed.

and yes, my blog is named after the album.

.............

no offense to anyone but i just don't see how The Score has a bigger impact than The Miseducation.

thought both are amazing and critically acclaimed, i bet more people know songs from TMoL, who aren't necessarilyavid listeners of the genres that it covered.

Man this is a Good Question Score was a better album.

Miseducation was a great album, but I think It made a greater impact I think the world accepted her individually as a artist prior to the album, which is whyit made a bigger impact than the group album.

Both CLASSICS
