I can't even go in depth on my true feelings about the movie just yet, but I can say one thing. If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest watching it ASAP.It's a must watch in my opinion.

Such a great movie

Welcome to NT Mr. "I have 7 Posts but still think I'm bad @%#."

Moving along.....

I just watched it for the first time a week ago...

I gotta say..it's overrated.

wouldn't watch it again..wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

I love Spacey, but Robbins was perfect. I wouldn't change anything about the film.

I'm pretty sure IMDB has it at #1. It's not my favorite, but it's definitely up there.

FREEMAN MADE THE MOVIE, Spacey wouldn't have let that happen. Robbins is too bland, reminds me too much of Keanu Reeves.

I just saw it for the first time a few weeks ago too. GREAT flick.

That's kind of the point of his character. Freeman "made" the movie because he was the narrator...

In the book, the transformation Andy makes during his stay is the story. During the film he was the same as when he first arrived, no emotion.

Shawshank Redemption is your favorite movie's favorite movie.
