The Simpsons Tapped Out....!!!!

I had to do the same thing, should be fine.

I actually just had to update to the new version on my ipad and then they both synced up and it works fine. But now how do we get these coins from other peoples neighborhoods like they said?

:x donut prices need to come down. Can't believe I've spent as much as I have, probably over $100.
why bring it down when it's selling like hot cakes you don't like the price and they still got you for over 100. Things only hit the discount rack when it's not selling

I'm 100% this thread alone done made them a few 100 if not a few 1000

And I'm guessing tree4twenty city looked like mine up until the update

I've been thinking about selling all my blue homes but **** just cost to much now to not have no big income. Case and point this doctor building just cost 160k.

I'm thinking about house farming too. The cost of these things are ridiculous. Especially when you have to mix it in with the Christmas update, you lose revenue when the Simpsons fam is out doing jobs for Santa Coins.

I'm tearing mine down tonight and building a refugee camp with blue houses hahaha.

Why are people going for the blue houses and not the purple? I'm sure theres a good reason, I just need help seeing it.

Honestly, Im addicted to the game. But seeing I may have to spend $400-$500 to get everything just hit me with the post i quoted. I just added it up, sporadically Ive spent $70-$80. It didn't really seem like much since it wasn't spent all at one time. I paid $20 twice, any other time its been $10 and under. Im just having so much fun with the game I hadn't really took the time or cared to see how much it you would have to spend to own everything. You can't say $500 on a game isn't a lot. But like I stated, Im addicted, EA will get more of money. That might not sound smart but it is what is. In the end the money isn't killing me.

their reasoning is that they can only check the game no more than 3 times a day. so Blue houses work best.

the flaw in that is you have to be PROMPT every morning at 7am (or so) to collect 3 times a day, the day you dont you're screwed with only 2 collects.

not only that, i get that you may not have the time daily, but it wont be like that everyday.

be it a time when you may be bored with nothing to do and end up checking multiple times in a day, you couldnt collect more than 3 times if you wanted to.

the blue houses limit your options, for just a little bit more than Purple houses. its really not worth it.

someone cited the difference in $$$ between the two, but in all honesty doughtnuts>>>XP>>>>>>>>>$$$ in this game.

I went with blue because of my schedule.

Depending what I have to do that day, I'm up between 3:45 and 4:30. Collect while I take a ****. Then around noon or so, I can take a quick break and collect. Then, around 8-9 before I go to bed...

Unless there is a set task, I set my characters to 12 hour tasks. Evening, then morning.

I had sent Apu to the 168 hour shift a couple times. That's all he does anyways is shifts...you just forget about him lol...

I agree with doughnuts>XP>$, but doughnuts are impossible to get unless you buy them. XP and $ go hand in hand. A good way to boost XP is by spending on little thing. Buying a bunch of little things add up..a ton of fence, trees, signs, bushes, etc. And when you have a lot of money coming in, dropping 10K on trees, bushes and fence is nothing..

Plus, I get 15 XP for every house. 15 x 500 houses = 7,500XP. 3x a day, that's 22,500XP..

$ = XP

Doughnuts are ridiculous to get. I bought 8 pieces of land earlier, had Lisa clean it all and not 1 damn doughnut lol. Stingy bastards. Hell, they could give you 1 for every piece of trash, and it still wouldn't be enough to do anything!

People dropping 100s but can't buy land lol. Looking like ninjahoodville. Stuffing 60 buildings onto 2 acres and then comment on other people trying to expand and make their town bigger..

Without a ton of houses, it would literally take years to buy all the land.

untrue.

you get 1-2 doughnuts with every level up

anyone that does that is cheating themselves out of XP $$$ and Doughnuts (through level ups).

ive said it before do the math.

the tasks arent equal from 1 hour to 12 or 24 hours. meaning, if you plan on checking 3 times a day you'd earn more by doing (3) 4 hours tasks vs one long 12 hour task. add it up.
however if you can only check once a day then by all means be happy with 12 and 24 hour tasks.

and even thats not absolute across the board. for example Cletus Farm has Trifids that pay out 200 in XP every 12 hours. if you look at the progression of $$$ and XP with all the crops the Trifids are out of sync, Trifids pay more in XP than the crop after it.

another problem with long tasks is sometimes you need a character to be free in order for other options to open up. if you've reached a level that allows you to build something and the character that triggers it is busy you'll have to wait.
i pretty much keep all my characters on the same time schedule for that reason alone.

I just got 3 houses decorated if you guys want some coins. We should keep track on who has decorations up already to help everyone out.

This is true, with the exception of 8 and 12 hour tasks. You're better off doing 2 12 hour task than 3 8 hour tasks, plus you only have to check it twice a day, which is fairly easy and good for people who have already completed most or all of the quests. If you play the game often and haven't complete all of the quests, then you should definitely do a bunch of short tasks which will get you the most $ and XP.

You get more money if you do hour or two hour task. I normally do hour tasks two to three times and then do 2-4 hour task and repeat. I check every hour as much as can, so for the most part it's hour tasks. At the end of the night it's 6-8 hour tasks.

This, I even try to get a few 3-10 minutes tasks in for an hour or two

Add me only if you got decorations

DaSignOfHell

About to start giving people on my list the boot That's not active

How do we decorate our houses? I have 50 coins and no idea what to do with them?

1.Have Flanders ride the snowmobile
2. Have Lisa and Homer do the fake skiing tasks
3. Have Homer, Lisa and Flanders free to initiate the decorating process

when you decorate the regular color houses every house you have gets decorated as well, so if you have 50 blue houses and spend 50 coins to decorate the blue house all 50 houses will be decorated and all 50 houses will give you coins every 24 hours.

EDIT: I am speculating, though all houses get decorated I don't know if all houses give coins. I'll know for sure in 24 hours

damn good to know

that's not what I've seen so far, 5 coins for each type of building, doesn't matter if you have 1 or 100.

^i was just speculating from what I saw when I decorated them but I don't really know for sure. If you're right though were do you collect the coins for the multiple houses? Is it just over one house?
