Is friendsgiving still a thing, I remember people trying to push the idea of it like 5 years ago. Sounded like an excuse to just get drunk/sleep with your friends during a holiday that's usually reserved for your family

I can't speak for all of the new tvs but depending on what you get the tv should be preloaded with apps

It won't have the sheer number of content Apple TV offers, but for me all I need is netflix, vudu, hulu and Amazon lol

I am disappointed that my tv doesn't have an NBA app though

It's pretty much an app that shows highlights, scores, and games aired on NBA TV and additional games if you have a league pass subscription.

But yes, I prefer to just go through Reddit.

It was already announced at WWDC when they discussed the Apple 4k TV. Rumors went around that it would release on 10/26.

Now with Prime Video considering adding ad's, many believe that could be the hold up.

Hoping for a release by the end of the year.
