the thread about nothing...

Imo i think stores like footlocker, finishline will follow the same faith like sears. Nike can pull the supply chain from footlocker, finishline etc and these stores will suffer.

Remember that one year, think it was 2003 when Nike suspended Footlocker and Champs from getting Air Jordan's as punishment for releasing Jordans early?

Why not just revamp the retail experience to shift attention from online shopping?

I'm cheap but nothing beats buying a brand new product in-store compared to online deals and steals.

Customer/employee interaction isn't for everyone though understandably.

I could see this happening actually. The lack of good selections the stores have nowadays is just sad.

If Alabama manages to come back to beat Clemson, I will buy an Alabama T-shirt (that I pick) for the first 8 people to PM me right after the game.

They have house of hoops for example.

Ive been to the multiple nike flagships stores in nyc stores and the experience is far better than any footlocker store. One nike store has actual wood-basketball court where you can test out products.

Nike using the snkrs app and other services can make them control each and every supply chain to go to official nike stores. They would probably do this to reap all the benefits from a high stock price and profits.

This is why amazon is so successful they have managed to control supply chains from manufactures.

Haven't done retail shopping for a pair of shoes I really really really wanted in a long time.

Definitely enjoy the pair of UNC 32s I recently bought at a "premium" price, but so much other **** takes top priority before those. Nothing is feasible now, but would have loved to get those WTL 16s from last year. Almost a perfect CW.

Do feel like having the ability to own anything would get boring as well too.

I knew this game wouldn't be good when the coaches had a friendly sit down interview the day before
