He’s a far 2 point shooter and bad on defense

Melo was always a good 3 point shooter, though he did not hesitate to take the 20 footer.

Most players are still bad at defense.

Melo's problem IMO is he did not want to try and be an effective player off of the ball. Which is weird as **** as that's the exact role he played on any of the FIBA teams and he was hands down without question the best player on the floor when playing that role.
