Lol do you really think 8k is gonna help fight a global disease? And there are much worse examples of frivolous spending, such as jewelry.
I used to think like that, (money could help people, etc) but people have the right to spend their money how they want. The government should protect it's people, it's not just one citizen's responsibility.
