Diego Maradona has died aged 60. The former Napoli, Barcelona and Boca Juniors player recently had emergency surgery for a subdural haematoma, a blood clot on the brain. Clarín, Argentina’s largest newspaper, first reported that Maradona had passed away, and the news would later be confirmed by his agent Matias Morla.

Increasing age
Most chronic subdural haematomas affect people over 60, and the chances of developing one increase with age.

This is thought to be because most people's brains shrink to some degree as they get older.

This places the brain's blood vessels under increased tension, like a stretched rubber band, and means they're more vulnerable to damage from minor injuries.

Alcohol misuse
Drinking too much alcohol over a long period of time can also gradually cause the brain to shrink and make the brain's blood vessels more vulnerable to damage.

I know NT hates her because she's fat and yet she's outgoing and confident, but if you rocked to this either with your eyes closed or put that sizism and misogyny on pause, you'd have to admit this is hella dope all the way through. Especially when she pulled the flute out and started playing
