been there when I first started looking for a job. the jitter was so unreal. I remember not to push it nor get over-ambitious. not saying to take immediately whatever is available but it would be nice to ask the interviewer in a calm and welcoming manner that if there are better positions available that would fit your criteria, that you would welcome such an offer. not too aggressive but collected. know what you really want and don't look too desperate. just the right amount of motivation and likability.
Allen Iverson piqued my curiosity to walk in the Gucci store in Topanga Mall to browse this shirt this past Wednesday all because I remember seeing him wear it during this year's NBA All-Star Game.
It's actually available in store.
The price is crazy high though! $1200!
I admit I don't know a lot about Gucci, but I always knew it was expensive. I walked in there with a $300 throwback jersey on and the 2021 Jordan VI Carmine, which was already high for my situation, but that shirt definitely blew away what I had on above my waist and on my feet in terms of cost.
It was a trip talking to the store employee because the young lady knew about the shirt by seeing him wear it on TV herself. She verified it was the same shirt he wore when I showed her a picture on my phone for reference. She acknowledged she watched the game because she follows basketball.

Dang $1,200 for a polo?
How do you even wash this or you balling so hard you only wear it once? Dry clean?
She lying b. Anything for a sale those dirty sales associates. Commission a trip.
So did you buy it?
That's a nice free ticket hookup you got. But you should have moved your butt down to better lower row seats to maximize your experience at a MLB game.
I sure as hell miss doing that at Dodger Stadium when I used to attend games because it became perpetually problematic for me due to haters over there, particularly an a-hole usher supervisor and a few uncool ushers.
I know, right? Good points about the cleaning for that shirt.
I wonder if Iverson grew up and changed now because he had that kind of rich people wasteful habit of using or wearing something only once when he was making a living playing ball.
I wouldn't doubt that.
But she definitely ain't going to get from me with my broke and cheap butt!
Since I already acknowledged a $300 throwback jersey and retro Jordans were already exorbitant in price for me, I'm going to admit I have to come up with ways to be resourceful to save mad money on that type of stuff. If I already can't afford that stuff, I sure as hell ain't getting a $1200 Gucci shirt.
Hell no! Get the F out of here with that because that shirt is way the F out of my price range.
I only went in that store for the sole purpose of trying to see if that shirt Iverson wore was sold in stores, which it was, and to take a picture of it to share on here. I also wanted to substantiate the high as hell price of it to y'all MFs on here.
didn't like Van Exel as a player but I dig his shoes.
you are welcome. just saying whatever the outcome, the sun will always shine.Man, I really like your approach. Thanks so much. I want to adapt that type of mind set because sometimes I can be my own worst enemy. But I definitely appreciate you and maq25060 advice for real. I just got an email stating that I have been moved to the next round of interviews so I definitely wasted time beating myself up and worrying. Sigh of relief and reminding myself to just relax going forward. Thanks again yall!
only because we got used to the modern day practice of cycling and cycling vehicles hasn't evolved that much. in the beginning, cycling was done this way....That makes a lot of sense - particularly the aerodynamics. Stupid looking though.
funny thing about that, is that $1800 suit can still earn them a profit even if they sell it for $50. people are buying it for the hype but not because how much it is really worth.I worked luxury retail for years. If $1200 for a Gucci shirt surprises you then you dont wanna know the prices of other items that are more absurd.
I remember I got this chick I was seeing a Bottega black body suit, just a plain black bodysuit a chick could get for like $10 at Forever 21. If anyone doesnt know what it looks like its kinda like a plain one piece swimsuit but made of cotton, kinda like a wife b tank top but covers the groin too. Anyways the Bottega one was real nice, material felt great and it would be criminal if I said how much I paid for it, might as well of gotten it for free but the retail price on that was $1800.
Was flabbergasted that item would cost so much. A shirt ok, a nice blouse whatever but a plain black body suit? They wylin.
