Had a cable installation appointment that I had to leave work early for today. Dude never showed and now they’re trying to tell me I have to reschedule (another week away). Any chance I can get my appointment prioritized if I make a stink?

Possibly, they'll more likely try to throw a $5 credit your way . Most cable companies are a pain to deal with on the phone, just depends on if that rush appointment will be worth the effort to you to get it.

You had to leave work and tell them dude not notifying you was rude and unprofessional .

Ask to speak to the supervisor.
