the thread about nothing...

Although Jesse Jackson is dead, are we going to disregard that he was an immoral scum when he got exposed for having a child outside of his marriage back in 2001?

This isn't too surprising because there's been a video thread of LaMelo Ball driving recklessly multiple times previously on Twitter.

Who are your saints?
I mean you personally.
Who are your moral celebrity champions?

I'm going with $100,000 in straight cash homie.

I'm glad you asked this because I learned a long time ago that nobody is perfect, especially famous people.

It's OK to like someone famous. But you still have to compartmentalize they're also flawed.

Some issues or transgressions related to an individual just cannot be accepted if it's that atrocious.

I learned when I was younger not to view any famous person I like as perfect or saints.

Michael Jordan is a perfect example. He was seen in the public eye as a good guy to the point kids looked up to him and wanted to be like him. He was marketed that way, especially by Nike. He had a corporate image wearing nice suits. But the truths about him eventually came out. Like how he was hard on teammates. He cheated on his first wife that eventually led to divorce. I'll always like him as a basketball legend based on him excelling in the sport. But I also accept he had flaws.

Another example is Magic Johnson, who is my all-time favorite basketball player. He definitely had a good image as he was naturally likeable. But he had an abundance of women at the peak of his legendary career, which caused him to contract HIV. I haven't wavered with liking him forever despite his somewhat past reckless lifestyle as a star. But it was understandable based on his status.

Don't forget how Hulk Hogan was seen as an ultimate good guy based on his gimmick, particularly during his heyday as a wrestling star. But he was truly an egomaniac who undermined other wrestlers to look out for himself. He was also a cheater and a racist based on that sex tape that exposed him.

Semantics aside, who are your celebrity moral champions?
Whatever you want to call it, who are they?
If you're dragging Jesse Jackson's name through the mud posthumously, then who are on the other end of your moral spectrum, your top dogs?
Who are they?

Just like drones, they will be adapted for the military

i kinda doubt humanoid robots will be militarized or into any of the sort (police, authoritarian positions, etc.) the functionality would be clumsy & inefficient even with the most efficient & lightest batteries, materials, motors…the whole anthropomorphic/ism pursuit is more to make us as human comfortable with them, if control & warfare is/arethe goal(s) it basically throws that out

here is the full performance

I really don't have any because I previously mentioned that everyone, famous or regular, has flaws.

I learned the hard way multiple times not to view anyone as perfect no matter how much I like them or how impressive they seem because it caused me to overlook and/or accept flaws that weren't acceptable to me initially.

Everyone in the world has flaws, no one is perfect. Idk why you would even think a celebrity would be perfect when you don’t know what goes in their daily lives

Acceptable flaws. Interesting convo there.

What flaws are acceptable to you?

I’ve smoked weed it’s a easy habit to kick
I want to ask yall is it hard for you to kick or do you know someone struggling with it
Dudes at work act like they can’t wait to get to the house and smoke as if we can’t smell that **** on them

I haven’t smoked weed in 7 years, then I did legal gummies in MN for a while which is not technically weed it’s not the full-fledged weed legal states have yet because Minnesota sucks at this.

It’s the easiest drug to kick, I kicked it without trying or even acknowledgment that it was happening. Haven’t had the Minnesota fake gummies for two years.
