(we'll call this girl L because her name starts with an L and she's the one that gave us the $500 L).

If anything, I would GO OFF on the girl AND the hotel. Talking about drug use and stuff like that cause of the syringe would absolutely set me off. Sounds like it wasn't as good of a trip as you would of hoped.

Honestly i don't know what you can do though. Sounds like one of those bad situations where you just take the loss. But don't pay for anything. Who ever flooded the toilet and didn't report it should pay for it and that's that.

But i am sure if you try to fight it there is a clause that states if damage is done $500 will be charged....and flood damage prob falls into that category. Sucks when people are irresponsible

I agree there's not much you can do, but my problem is how they try to accuse people of "drug use". That's not cool. I would seriously cause a damn scene if someone tried to play me on something like that just because they're pissed off that theres flooding going on.

I'm getting hyped up over something that didn't even happen to me. I gotta get back to my ZEN. :x

Little did she know the flood did not affect just our bathroom but the room below us too. Maybe those people int he room were just out before and came back in the middle of the night. I have no idea but I was so pissed I had to deal with the situation when I didn't even know about the bathroom. My girl just played dead like a possum the whole time Don't think she moved from the bed at all but she was awake the whole time. They prolly thought she nodded out on some drugs because of the syringe

How old is everyone in this situation?

Everyone I know would've reported the flooding trying to get a discount on the room or a free upgrade.

I'm trying to figure out how much it would cost me monthly to get a dog at my apartment.

eating twice a day= 2 dollarsx 7= 14 a week
14x4= 56

+40 every two months for grooming.

Also probably 20 sunk costs for toys and such but thats not a reoccurrence.

Are there any other costs i'm forgetting?

@MJ : buy food in bulk, and invest in a dremel hand tool and clippers to do your own grooming (a 1 time cost of $40 and $30 or so, but it saves in the long run)

With buying food in bulk i should get the dog accustomed to eating dry food cuz its cheaper right?
