happy b daySup TAN. It's my birthday & such. Going to a big park to "trip", for the first time.
i don't think that's obama...obama has been trying to give people like the ones you are talking about a pass, it's republicans that are all gungho about americanism and mexicans stealing jobs etc.Today's a sad day at work- yesterday we had to let 27 people go because Obama and his administration has been sending homeland security and the IRS to come and **** with small Texas businesses. Every employee was required to prove citizenship and the appropriate paperwork, and those that couldn't either get let go or the company pays giant fines. Out of our 30 years in business, its never happened before, and most of the guys let go have been here 10-25 yearsThis all started after the last election where Texas was threatening to secede and many here were claiming that Texas doesn't need the government or regulations and that our businesses thrive on their own and that our economy would be fine if we seceded. Seems like the administration has been doing everything they can to mess with our state ever since. They aren't requiring anybody to leave the country, just making things harder on the people that actually wanna work here, and the ones willing to work long days in production and warehouses. **** sucks yall, all these dudes I've known for years coming in to fill out their paperwork and say goodbye
yall know i'm not a Republican, I don't trash Democrats or Obama- but this **** aint right and it is directly because of the current president. Justify it how you want, but all this does is make us more dependent on bigger businesses that are nationwide and is a slap in the face to all these hardworking people that have been here for years supporting are economy and being the backbone of our workforce.![]()

see Arizona.sounds logical, but its never happened when a Republican was in office- and they're all talk on that issue anyways. Like I said, they aren't requiring any of them to go back or leave the country- its merely a crackdown on businesses- particularly smaller, exclusive to Texas businesses. The way it went down is exactly in line with the reasoning I gave, and I'd like to consider myself a reasonable person. It would make no sense for Republicans (who are supposedly for free market, less regulation, and more business) to do this, especially without requiring them to leave. This isn't just my opinion btw, its the consensus down here- and not just with the typical anti-Obama/white/Republicans. I'm not trying to get all political on TAN- but Obama and the Democrats see Texas as the biggest threat to them- so why not weaken our economy and regulate the hell out of the only state that can withstand the recession and continue creating jobs when the rest of the country is stagnant (for the most part, there are exceptions). Anyways, end of rant- its just not a good day for mei don't think that's obama...obama has been trying to give people like the ones you are talking about a pass, it's republicans that are all gungho about americanism and mexicans stealing jobs etc.Today's a sad day at work- yesterday we had to let 27 people go because Obama and his administration has been sending homeland security and the IRS to come and **** with small Texas businesses.
