I'm trying to reach out to someone I know at a place I want to work... Not sure how I should go about asking for her help in that department...

Should I offer to get a drink with her and talk or would emails suffice?

Ultimately its her job that I want.

So at the very least I'd like to be someone she'd recommend for her job in the event that she left.
