Yeah really don't understand why they feel compelled to get married just because they reach a certain age. I think the main reason why my girl want's to be married by 25ish is because all of her friends are either already married or close to it. I'm going to enjoy my 20's with as little responsibilities as possible then start thinking about marriage and kids after I had my fun....still not sold on the kids part though

I have at least 2 weddings to go to this fall and I'm not looking forward to them at all. I think people are getting married way too young these days. Personally I'm not even going to start thinking about marriage until my late 20's early 30's....my girl isn't going to like that, but that's just the way it is.

Girls are too dramatic when they talk about getting married. Especially the ones that are in their early mid twenties.

I was with my boy the other day and his girl was talking about marriage. She was telling him how she wants three kids, a house and a garden. So my boy starts telling her how he will never have any kids until he feels he is financially stable to provide all of that. This girl starts tripping balls talking about what if i start making more money? What about what i want? Why dont you wanna get marry here? What is wrong with you?

I cant deal with that

She sounds like a selfish individual talking like that. Yet she wants to get married? She doesn't have the slightest idea of what marriage is. Sadly, a lot people have that mentality.

The almighty dollarrrrr, it ain't what it used to be.....

I mean, I understand she was going through some things, but ONE Google search would have saved her a lot of heartbreak. Friend didn't even do a good job covering it up... at her putting a save-a-*** motive behind the whole scheme.


That's a crazy show, but it's so reflective of the times in which we live...anybody that says the internet doesn't count or isn't that serious in 2013 is a damn fool.

I threw that age theory out the window a long time ago. Like I said, times change and we have to adjust accordingly. People try to fit round pegs into a square hole. It's a recipe for disaster.

About the whole marriage thing, I'm barely 20 and know 4 people who got engaged...just last week like what is going on around here? simpjuice in the water?

me and my friend were both like damn, what are we doing with our lives? we want to get married too and do photoshoots and planning all of that other stuff tho...not 'bout it
but she just got in to law school, and I'll be going to med school soon so it evens out, I guess

My classmate from elementary school got married when we were seniors in high school I'm glad she's still with her hubby though. And my hall mate from last year recently got married and she's only a year younger than me. Both their husbands are in the army.

I noticed its mostly military couples that marry extremely young. Anybody know why?
