Everybody wants that two-ring circus they call a wedding. A lot of people could give a damn about whether they're with the person the rest of their life like they lied in church about.
I really don't think people understand the black experience on a day-to-day basis. Our paintjob changes A LOT for us before we even speak a word in some cases.
It's not so bad...at least y'all get color tattoos and Band-Aids that match. Sometimes I wish I was white.
On the marriage thing, less people actually love each other these days, so less people should get married.Why would you enter a lifetime commitment unless you're sure you want to see that person's face until one of you dies? It's common sense to me.

Military people gets married because they want to go home to someone and also for the housing benefit. My dude married his hs swetheart before leaving to Iraq because he needed a reason to make it back home alive, not just for his family and friends but for love (I think).

So very much yes. Otherwise, why the hell would you enter a binding legal agreement stating that is the only person you're allowed to have extended physical contact with? I'm getting married ONCE and staying that way. I'm learning on the job now, but eventually I'm going to make some lucky woman (likely this one) a stellar and permanent husband.

Agreed. No women I speak to now understand. They think the way I am single now is the way I'll be when married. Nope, I enjoy my single life so i'll enjoy my married life. I'll be loyal and devoted and I expect the same. Until I feel that way and someone understands that no need to rush.
