Both $900.
The Ideapad is smaller (14 inch) with a lower resolution (1600x900) but has a better processor & graphics card than the V7.
It also has a backlit keyboard (the V7 might have one since the other V7 models do but microsoft doesnt list anything about it on the page). V7 has a touchscreen. The Y410p may have wifi issues according to this forum so that's something to keep in mind if you consider it.
