Just talked to Pops, he will be home in a couple weeks. Just in time for Thanksgiving, but more importantly back in time for my little bros birthday. He's mailing me rent money, grocery money, n gas/alcohol money.
On the flipside tho, just talked to the big homie n damn, one of my lil' homies looking at life.
Kid is only 17 and been in n out of the joint for the past three years. It makes me sad to just see him throw his life away like that. Still, we all took that risk at that age. Worst part is he didn't even do it, just was the one that got caught up. This makes me appreciate my situation even more. I gotta do right in school n get my degree. I also need to start getting on my feet. I don't want to have to go back to what I was doing before.
On the flipside tho, just talked to the big homie n damn, one of my lil' homies looking at life.

I made a great Chicken Cordon Bleu the other night. I made a portobello mushroom sauce for the topping and asparagus for a side dish.
Tonight I made PB&J and Ramen.
