speaking of beer, vons in santa monica had a sale on firestone saturday while I was there lurking, wookey jack was consumed heavily and so were skittles and chipotle.

Ugh. I wish I had more access to Firestone. We get regular shipments of Union/Double/Wookey Jack, Walker's Reserve, and DBA, but Parabola, Double DBA, Sucaba, Velvet Merkin, and the Anniversary beers are so hard to come by. Double DBA is probably my second favorite beer of all time.

. There was a Goose Island tasting at a beer distributor by my house on Friday. I bought a 16 oz. growler of the new Bourbon County, so the owner gave me a free glass from them. He's a swell guy, I tell ya.

Never knew they had a restaurant (though I should have figured considering most breweries serve food as well), but we get all of their staple beers out here (312, Honker's, Harvest, Brown, Sofie, Matilda, etc.).
