Are you content with being in a relationship that makes you unhappy, or are you willing to take a chance on a possilbe relationship that could make you happy

Taking that chance would mean completely demolishing everything that I've worked for in my current relationship.. housing and everything.

NT, yall are makin me feel like I have a pretty obvious choice to make. I think I'm gonna wait until her relationship either patches or falls through to make any huge decisions..

The crazy part about all of this is that when we started talking again as friends, I specifically told myself "DON'T FALL FOR HER. DO NOT GROW FEELINGS." and then this.. SMH

It's just not easy.. This is the girl that moved in with me when I got kicked out my moms.. she has been there for me for my ups and downs and when I had no job and everything.

I was in a similar place.

Still had love for my GF at the time.

Been there for me forever. 3+ years together, had something going on for 5+ years.

But i couldn't do it anymore. Arguing for stupid stuff (which we would never do). Realized I wasn't in love with her, but with the rest that comes with it (our story, her family, our friendship).

Hardest decision I made, broke up with her.

Fast forward a couple of months, met another girl and it was the best relationship i've been. Had to come to an end to though |I

Don't sacrifice your happiness for familiarity. If that's how you feel, then you owe it her, n more importantly, yourself to let her know how you feel. If you feel it's worth trying to work out then don't hide these feelings n end up resenting her for something you could have nipped in the bud. No one said life was easy, sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
