How do you put 40k miles on a 2 year old car.

Not as hard as you would think and if the car is a 2012 model year on paper it was probably first sold in 2011 considering the way they sell cars so far in advance now. So what looks like 20k a year is actually about 13k a year, which is right on par with average annual commuter mileage.
