the first guy i dated was... something else. like, literally he HAD to be in contact with me almost every hour of the damn day. even when i was sleeping, he'd want to still be on the phone.

he would say "i love you, thank you for being my girlfriend" SO MUCH in one day. it was cute for awhile but then it got annoying. i told him it would mean more if he said it less often and he wailed and threw a fit.

he befriended my friends from high school JUST to keep tabs on me.

he would call non-stop until i answered the phone. waking up to 30+ missed calls every morning was the norm.

one time, i left my phone at home on accident while hanging out with my cousins and he was hysterically mad, screaming and sobbing on the phone because he "missed me so much"..... i came home to 300+ missed calls that day. 6 years later, my cousins still clown me for going out with him. 

dude fedex-ed his hands on me so i dumped him. dude threatened to kill my family, made alot of suicide threats, held a knife against his neck just to try and win me back, put his hands on me inappropriately because i refused to give my v-card to him.

so yeah. dudes who love TOO hard is a no go for me anymore.   unless he's not crazy.

I always feel your friends are a great indication of how happy you are in a relationship. They just see it and sense it. Its unfortunate because sometimes they can only tell you so much. If you don't take the blinders off and realize it yourself their advice can only go so far. Its happened to me and my best friend
