I mean I've known my boys since elementary school/high school but sometimes I feel like I need to chill with a group of people with the same interest in music or spots I'd wanna visit and not just basketball and rap. Or is it me?

You can chill with whoever you want to. Just don't abandon your old friends for your new ones. I mean you can if you want, but new friends are always good to have.

Nothing wrong with branching out. For me, I've never been able to have a steady group of friends from childhood. Many have had to move or I changed schools so adapting for me is nothing. I don't get too attached like that, not that I don't appreciate it but I just know to adjust. I've had so many cool friends I wish I was still in touch with.
