I dont consider that being negative, but rather acknowledging facts. It did suck, nothing wrong with saying it, just like Jking saying his was great isnt bad either.

Job I applied for called me last week on Tuesday, training is 10-5 for 5 weeks. Told the Senior Recruiter I'm starting college the 12th but I'm planning on taking night classes, she said she would note that I'm waiting on my school schedule for my availability and that they'd work with my schedule after the training. Explained to me that training is mandatory. Asked my boy what his night class schedules looking like, 5:30-9 4 days a week. Calling her today in a few minutes to find out when the training starts, if it's after the registration workshop for classes on the 8th, peace to my current job & I'm calling out the 31st.
