Why is it that a camera on a roller coaster can snap a clear pic of your face going 70 MPH or so but a bank cam can't get a clear shot of a robber standing still?

Can someone answer that please?

That's a really good question. Perhaps it's because bank cameras are taking video vs. a still for roller coaster. And maybe it's more cost effective for banks to not invest in fancy cameras. How often do banks get successfully robbed? Maybe they just spend the money a good camera would cost towards other security measures. Not defending the banks, just playing Devil's advocate.
