Antonio Cromartie became a father again. And then five minutes later, he became a father again.

Cromartie's wife Terricka had twins on Sunday, which was Mother's Day, US Weekly reported.  Jynx Revell-Antonio Cromartie was born first, and then five minutes later his twin sister J'adore Nayvi Cromartie was born US Weekly said.  

Cromartie, most recently a cornerback with the New York Jets but currently a free agent, is well known for the number of children he has fathered. US Weekly said the twins were the third and fourth children of Antonio and Terricka, and Antonio has eight other children from other relationships. What makes the Mother's Day twins story so surprising is Antonio had a vasectomy, but Terricka got pregnant with twins anyway. 

"It took me a while to process it," Terricka Cromartie told US Weekly, "but Antonio stood firm and was saying, 'It’s God’s will.' And he’s been excited the whole time."

The couple told US Weekly about the surprise pregnancy in January, but they were hesitant about it. For good reason. After all of the attention that has been given through the years to Cromartie and the number of children he has, it wasn't easy to share the news. But they did, and seem very excited about the new additions to their family. 

"To be honest, I’ve gone back and forth about if I wanted to share the news or not," Terricka Cromartie told US Weekly. "All my children are blessings and all of Antonio’s children are blessings, for that matter. It was made to seem that my children weren’t a blessing because they were categorized by a number, and for that reason and that reason alone, I hid both of my [first two] pregnancies with my husband, just so I could enjoy them with those who were really happy for me."
