Morning Tan

the dunkin donuts by me is the slowest thing in the world. Had to pick up bagels and a box of joe for my staff meeting today....dozen bagels (no cream cheese already bought it) and box of coffe $27 + tax.....

It was 5am and there was one other person in the store in line in front of me who got a coffee. It took me 20 mins to get in and get out...

Attended my friend's funeral over the weekend. It was so moving to see his mom remain so strong.

The preacher (or maybe religion as a whole) really irked me throughout bc he kept saying how God knows what she's going through bc he sacrificed his son and how Jesus brought people from the dead.

How can you say something so disgusting at a time like this? Who finds comfort in those words? It should all be about this great man we gathered for who's gone at just 26 and leaving 2 kids behind.

I went to a mothers day service with my girls family (I am aethiest so obviously church isn't my thing) but they sermon was like "Jesus will love you more than your mother ever could. Imagine how much your mother loves you and jesus loves you even more then that. He alone is love"

Then he proceeded to ask people who have lost their mother's to stand up and tell them Jesus is there for them to love them even more than their dead mothers.

I was sitting there like...its mothers day...and this dude is literally ******** on moms living and dead


RIP to your friend and my condolences no parent should have to bury a child. That stuff hurts my heart

@Jking0821 yeah, I should've mentioned that I'm atheist also. On Mother's Day? There is sub-0 chill with religious people sometimes. Not all religious people but most that I've been around.
