Am I the only one that I can see a good movie a few times, and each time i think something different is gonna happen ?

For example the movie " Life " ( great movie btw )

Eddie Murphy, after buying the liquor wants to go and gamble the little money he has, Martin Lawrence tries to convince him that its gas money, dont spend.

They end up going, left broke and in jail because of a murder.

and everytime i watch the scene i keep thinking iight eddie gonna listen to Martin and leave and everything will be fine
