the thread about nothing...

Man it's been rainning too much :{

Summer needs to arrive asap

Mom's birthday is tomorrow. What should I get her, TAN?
Not sure, man. Do you have siblings? Maybe get some insight from them?

I normally take my mom out to the restaurant of her choosing, since she tends to buy what she wants anyway lol.

lol my siblings and I are all stumped. We probably will just end up taking her out to dinner.

Supreme is not that expensive—the resell is. This new generation of kids stuggle with finding their own identity so signs of rebellion, even with a price tag, can be bought and sold no matter the concept.

It sucks when kids don't skate but buy it just to resell. This Supreme x LV is the pinnacle of branding gone awry.

I like Supreme in concept but mainly wear Ralph.

"Know what you wear and wear what you know."

I guess my standards of expensive are different. Especially when its cotton shirst. PACSUN and ELWOOD tees are $15 a piece if not cheaper at times. Like if you are skating and falling and sweating and bleeding at times on your clothing....idk how you paying supreme retail prices better yet resale.

Idk i like some of there stuff....aka hats....and a few t-shirts. But its wild expensive to me. I can't bring myself to pay their prices

I refuse to pay more than 40 for a t shirt. I usually only wear plain ts. Few with graphics.
Last t shirt i paid over 40 for was the jordan playground t a while back

A gift cerificate to a massage place

Other stuffs

Supreme is pretty damn expensive, at least over here. It generally costs more than the more affordable Italian designer brands like Diesel and Armani.

Supreme t-shirts are generally over €70 retail while I can buy a nice quality plain Diesel t-shirt for half that amount or less.

Personally I really like Diesel t-shirts, the ones without text etc. They're comfy, good quality and really don't cost that much. Especially when they're on sale.

People still wear Diesel? Serious question
Fairly common. Mainly the denim. Its relatively low price ranges put it in a good position.

Europe is quite different from the US in that regard. For example I can probably count the times I've seen anyone wear Jordans outside of a sports setting on one hand.

Same reason i wear abercombie t's as long as they have no logo or text.

They can be had on sale for cheap like $10-$20, they are slim fitting and super soft.....wear what you want

Yeah, I like they hats and their small logo zip up hoodies. But still, those are pricey.

Kudos to those that enjoy buying that stuff, but I can't.

Getting a punching bag for my house..already have some weights..I go to the gym all the time..but should start working out at home as well..maybe before running errands or even before work..real excited about the punching bag..nice stress reliever

I rock basically Nike/Adidas/North Face/Supreme..

Quality-wise..Supreme and North Face wins..With Supreme there's never a thread out of place..nothing ever gets destroyed in the wash..their items are constructed very well..North Face has almost lifetime guarantees on everything..yeah u def get what u pay for

I hate it when my colleagues think i'm pissed / having a bad morning because i'm not making small talk.

I just don't want to smalk talk and get my work done, yet they assumed i'm having a bad morning.

Foh

So you hate it when people are concerned?

No i hate that they assume i'm pissed if i'm not engaging in the small talk and just doinng my job.

I'm just fine, but yet they assume i'm not.

That's what i don't like

Man I feel you. I am not with the small talk at all, but I feel burdened to keep up with it at least a little bit just for the sake of keeping up relationships. I mean, I genuinely enjoy the people I work with. Best co-workers/bosses I've EVER had. I have some dope conversations on the regular with a few of them, but I'm still relatively new (<6 months) so I'm still trying to establish myself in the environment.

Side note: I'm a personal trainer. I get along better with the front desk people than I do with the other trainers. No problems with anybody, but most of the trainers are like 40+ and the front desk people are all my age (early 20s). Kind of weird.

This is my life.

And the issue is that the people that love to small talk love to small talk about the same stuff and most of it is just stuff they like. And i don't have anything in common with you. So you small talking me about your kids gymnastics class, or your husbands balding problem or your Siamese cats nails is not something i want to deal with.

The other day this dude was like "didn't you say you were going to see the alien movie did you like it?" I replied "yeah it filled in a lot of the gaps from Prometheus that i had about the whole creator story line, so David...." "Niceee did you watch the hockey game?"

Like cut me off when i actually wanted to talk about the movie to talk to me about the hockey game when he has asked me multiple times this playoffs if i watch hockey...and have replied no. :{

My girlfriend's sister does this type of ish, but she cuts me off/follows up with another question about me. She'll just ask me 100 questions about my life, but never actually take anything I say in. Anytime she doesn't actually respond to something I say its only because she has an opposing viewpoint, but she never actually is interested in a back and forth.

This past Friday she asked me what the deal was with Trump and the Paris agreement. I don't know much about it, but I try to give her what I do know. After a solid 30 second monologue trying to give her the facts she just goes "okay" and turns to her sister and asks her about something TOTALLY unrelated. Like no follow up questions or response or anything. I probably just could have told her Trump hates French people and that would have been sufficient.
