srs. how does one become a millionaire through a normal job? Not like i learnt this in school

with multiple streams of income..which includes investments..just regular job? U would hav to save every penny or be in some type of position with a lucrative bonus/incentive/commission structure
 
they need to teach investments in high school. guess I got a lot of reading to do
 
It's easy. Say you are 18 years old. If you deposit $500 every month until you are 60 and earn a conservative 6% interest you will have $1.4 million. You contributed about $250k and you earned interest of $890k. All you need to know is that consistency is all you need.

Indeed. Think it goes to the whole thing of someone not having money like that and then coming up on a substantial amount and they start buying this, that and a third. Next thing they are broke. Think of all these lottery winners that go broke within like 5-10yrs.
