the thread about nothing...

not excited about this week. have to find a place to live by september 1. Starting to stress out a little about it. The rent it too damn high everywhere. How anyone makes 60k a year and could afford a 1 bedroom for $1800 is beyond me.

They can't..and they have amassed a ridiculous amount of debt

Red beans and rice for breakfast.

Oh yeah, and a big ol peice of cornbread

Glad I decided to enter a PTA program. 2 years at a county college and I'm looking at a solid salary and I'll be able to pay school off by graduation if I'm diligent. And I love the subject.

I may be late but I just found out that clothing brand Anti Social Social Club was created by an OG NTer. NT was mean to dude. The Neek Supreme shirt was dope

I learned that Everybody has a different path in life but im glad you found yours. I feel like theres a time and place for everything.

I took two years of French in HS and I haven't used it since. I thought it was an easy language to learn though.

If I ever took the time to learn a language now, it would be Spanish. Way more practical.

C'est pour un petit bureau à Paris. Je suis pas très intéressé mais Ils m'ont contacté tout d'abord et la plus part du boulot ne se ait pas sur place donc cool

Fait-le (lol there's stuff that doesn't sound right on French)

Bonne chance

Absolutely. Took me 5 years after HS to figure this all out. I went through a few different phases of what I thought I wanted to be. I left my office job last year to pursue personal training. I started training last September and eventually figured out that the clients I loved working with the most were the ones with physical limitations/injuries and that's what led me down the PT route.

But PT school is way too long and the math doesn't make sense to me so I found PTA to be a nice middle ground that I'd be satisfied with.

I don't think I'll be permanently satisfied with it though. I'll always want to do something more. I don't think anyone is content with doing the same thing until they're 65. I'll definitely explore different side hustles. I could do PT on the side or flip stuff on eBay like I've been doing. My blog has been popping. If I took it seriously I maybe could parlay that into something.

Finding your path in life is an evolving thing. I never expect to be content, but I'm trying to find peace with the journey.

Speaking and reading? yes, writing and grammar? That **** was hard af for me. All those prefixes and suffixes, and then if the words masculine or feminine.

English by far the easiest language to learn

I agree with the first part. Grammar is tough.

English I've heard is the hardest because of the contradictions.

One of the reasons why English is known for being difficult is because it’s full of contradictions. There are innumerable examples of conundrums such as:

  • There is no ham in hamburger.
  • Neither is there any apple nor pine in pineapple.
  • If teachers taught, why didn’t preachers praught?
  • If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
  • “Overlook” and “oversee” have opposite meanings, while “look” and “see” mean the same thing.

Merci mec

I find any language difficult until you have the basis really clear in your mind and ou get to a country where the only language they speak is the one you're learning ... that force you to learn
