Poverty is more of an issue in this country than many realize. Does this country really think people are willing to die or let their loved ones die because they can't afford necessaries (food water etc) even though it's in abundance? Yes some people are lazy but some just fall on hard times and will provide by any means. This should be apparent to the government, look at what stakes they go through to obtain valuable goods like oil.
The government is greedy, so it's people are greedy, aside from a small amount of truly altruistic individuals.
Smh. This country will literally watch you die if you don't have a certain insurance.
Also, I think stupid long jail sentences should be replaced by corporal punishment and torture. Keeping humans locked in cages is inhumane and keeping them away from their family is causing even more damage.
Cats don't respect the law. They don't want to go to jail/prison because it definitely sucks but if they knew The Pear was waiting on them then I bet they'd think twice before committing a heinous crime.
Is all of that time even rehabilitating people most of the time anyway? .
