How is Hawaii's downtown? Never been to Hawaii and clueless about it.

Thinking of a solo trip to Hawaii one day. Just chill at a resort during the day and travel to downtown/walk around/ eat somewhere at night

Dunno how feasible that is.

downtown Honolulu is basically just a business district, lot of people during working hours but completely dead otherwise.
also there's not a lot of places of interest as far as eating and drinking goes in downtown.

but Chinatown(just off of downtown) on the other hand is loaded with lots great places to eat and drink. traditional Chinese, Vietnamese restaurants along with hipsterish bars and gastropubs.

there's also no place to stay in that area so you would have to stay in Waikiki (where most tourist stay) and Uber/Taxi(probably like a 45 minute walk)

Put a pic up of amber rose bush and damn near a week later got the hammer. Either someone reported right away and it took meth a few to see it or someone was lurking my posts and was waiting for the perfect moment to rat me out. Oh well done deal, I ain't engaging in nothing with nobody on here anymore. I'm not a fan of the situation and I'm just here for the shoes now lol
