Got a call from my notary and an important document in the mail regarding the inheritance from my dad's passing. I am now the confirmed sole beneficiary and I can start to unblock my dad's funds and transfer them to my accounts. There will still be a couple months of additional paperwork and later on the government coming for their share.
It feels very strange tbh and I haven't even gone to the bank yet to deliver the document. On one hand I'm certainly very happy with what I'm getting but on the other hand it's also sad that it has come to this point when dad was only 55 years old.

Yeah, going to need some podcast recommendations and music to listen to during the drive. The first day should be cool, since I get to drive through Colombus and Indy to Peoria, IL. But from Peoria, nothing much after Omaha, NE. Cheyenne is a pretty dead lol.
I'm thinking of maybe stopping in Reno for lunch and playing some slot machines to see if I could win a quick buck lol.

Well the general cause was alcoholism. The actual cause of death was technically blood poisoning resulting in general organ failure. He had been in the hospital for a few weeks looking completely yellow as a lemon due to severe liver cirrhosis from many years of alcoholism. The treatment wasn't enough to save the liver and it proceeded to decline. I then got a call from the hospital that his liver had completely broke down and that he went into a coma. The liver could no longer perform its functions and break down toxins so all the toxins spread throughout the body. I and my aunt signed a Do Not Reanimate contract immediately after arriving at the hospital and he died later that day, June 16th.

i used to work near a costco... when wed go out to eat, it was clutch man, a hot dog with a drink for $1.50 and a slice a pizza for $2.00 (slices are like 2 1/2 regular slices lol) all for less then $5

Ive never stepped food into sams but ive been with costco my whole life. I used to do ALL my grocerys there till i smartened up. Most foods would go to waste since its too much.
