Next Subtract 2x^2+40x from both sides.
60−(2x2+40x)=2x2+40x−(2x2+40x)
−2x2−40x+60=0
Then use quadratic formula with a=-2, b=-40, c=60.
x= −b±√b2−4ac/2a

x=40±√2080/−4

x=−10−√130 or x=−10+√130
