I read my original post ..forgot 'tix' but I was also posting on my iPhone while smoking a cig..I saw the mistake but thought u would get what I meant thru context..no biggie tho..TBH $1k doesn't sound bad at all..I don't ever think I'd be able to land WS tix but can get playoff tix around $600

if it effects your work life balance too much i understand but you should try it out.
i've met a lot of people who would be great managers if they strived for it. it always feels like the wrong personnel are the ones that want it most.
