the thread about nothing...

Filson got a lot of dope ****, would cop more if I lived in colder weather

okay, so Historical Jesus existed, right?

he would have had to be an unremarkable looking dude.

every image of him--no matter what color--is always this ancient movie star looking guy, Mr. Save Your Girl.

...but to me, there's no way a celebrity faced man could have not walked around literally speaking for God and not have drowned in female attentions.

it only makes sense for 13 average looking dudes to wander around together spreading goodwill toward all men.

besides, if he was some romance novel cover guy, what does that say about humans that only the words of a Very Attractive Person would matter?
Keep in mind, the image of Jesus that is common to everyone was created by the Europeans. Jesus really looked like a Middle-Eastern Man.

Now this is the stuff I wish I could find. Too bad all the Marshall's and Ross' that I lived near are all garbage.

oh for sure, there aren't many lily white sandy blondes walking around the desert. I guess what I'm asking is why is he always depicted as physically appealing, he could have been the ugliest son of a God ever to walk the Earth.

is that an important part of the overall presentation?

if he was ancient Tyrone Hill, would people have been less likely to follow him?

how strong is the "halo effect," basically.

Dead @ tyrone hill

They all depictions tho, doubt anyone gonna depict him as ugly even if he may have been

I think presentation was highly important at the time. Who would the Europeans be willing to believe the man called "Son of God'? A colored middle-eastern man or a white angel lol

Probably help garner the following all through out Europe.
