My initial impressions after wearing my CP's all morning
It is probably the best combination dress/sneaker shoe out
It feels almost like a low chuck but with a sturdy yet soft leather upper
they are narrow
they are too long
you should size down
i think they will be amazing after break in
glad i copped two pairs to rotate, they should wear in very interesting pic incoming

Honestly. I don't associate poverty with vans.
I'm not a parent yet but when I do have kids I'm not gonna dress them badly. But as they get older when they realize wearing nice clothing gives you confidence to take on any task in life. Let them realize you can make the best cheap looking shoe/clothing look at feel like $200 shoe. (if that makes sense to y'all) casue its not about the shoes it's about the person/character at the end of the day.
Thier are just material items too. I rather have my life in order than expensive shoes which I do have in somewhat good order.
Like I said vans aren't cheap. You can get the for a good low priced sale on sale rack but the MSRP for the vault collection starts at 100+

When I was I kid I rocked New balance. I was content with that but of course I was clowned in it cause they were reject shoes to the kids I grew up with. I still rock new balance kicks cause they are super comfortable, and I'm a ex-track athlete.(might come out of retirement). Didn't phase me back then, doesn't phase me now. Im glad my mom bought them for me when I was in the 5th grade. Cause I was naturally fast and when I got into track and field in high school I was a mid-distance speed God.

lolol bobo shoes are straight up struggle shoes..any brand u never heard of that could be found at Payless or Kmart back in the day..some kids got made fun of so bad ..u can google xj900 shoes for pics

I know what your talking about now. The joints with the paraplegic straps. Lol. Yeah those were horrible. Never owned a pair but. I Do still cop Payless shoes like champions or RBK. (Fake Reebok's) as my beaters when I need to do some dirty jobs. Not messing up my Nike flyknits or my high performance kicks for that.
