Jay was phenomenal last night. This guy has the crowd in the palm of his hand the whole night. He stopped a few times to talk about the anthem protests, Meek, Chester Bennington, played the Dreams and Nightmares intro, did a medley to close out the show. His ability to connect with the crowd is off the charts. He was shouting out people from the top of the second level.
He also did a really good job of mixing in 4:44 into the set. Weird to say since that's the whole reason for the tour, but it's not really a concert album. Crowd went crazy for D'Evils, Ain't No N---, Big Pimpin, Jigga My N---, Paris, PSA, Beach Is Better...basically the entire show.
Next up is Yeezy. The first song they played right before Vic came on was Wolves. The way that record resonated through the stadium made me think about how good it would be live because Ye's is way more emotional than Jay's. The crowd would be lit. Funny though because I was set to see him last year, but then Kim got robbed, the show got pushed back then he cancelled it and a few other pushed back dates like 2 weeks before the show.

My best friend is about to break up with this girl he’s engaged to. They’ve had the engagement patty, picked a wedding place, got her family on board etc. He called me last night and said something telling him this isn’t right (biology lol) and that he can’t go through with it.
I’m fully on board. Marriage and real life are exhausting. Takes a lot of courage, commitment, and sacrifice to say you’re gonna stick with one person.

He’s got anxiety about going through with this. His mom and dad got divorced and so did all of his aunts and uncles. He views marriage more of a forced bad business contract that screws the man lol. Also, I think he got caught up in the hype of all of our friends getting married and starting to have kids etc. Made him think he wanted that, but isn’t really ready for all that I guess. He’s also super super ambitious and thinks that getting to this girl equates settling down and accepting a mediocre life.
All valid points.
I love my girl to the end of the earth, but I think this stuff too. Without having to compromise and sacrifice to be in a relationship there is a lot more that you can do with a career and a life (and of course with girls lol)
