As a kid I never really saw any of the brands as superior. I just know I never had Air Jordans cause those were breadly. I had TMacs and AIs (from the outlets of course) so they were all cool to me. I don't think I had any Nike sigs growing up actually. I had one of the first pairs of Nike Shox though. Couldn't tell me nothing the first couple weeks of wearing em

I always thought Nike's were superior because of how my friends made it THE brand to wear. Also, my parents wouldn't buy me anything Nike because of the price. So I wore, Reebok, Adidas, and Vans.
I think a big reason why I became a shoe head was that I was able to afford all the Nike's I wanted lol. Smh. What a waste of money.
