You *** .......ALMOST made me upchuck my breakfast. Bleghhhh! Balut.

Anyone here doing Secret Santa at your workplace?

My Secret Santa is the dude who sits in front of me.
He loves the Green Bay Packers and craft beer.
So I copped him 2 beer glasses with Packers logos on them.
Bruh you just reminded me that I'm in a Secret Santa. I don't feel like shopping today though.

^ Gift cards are hella uninspired, imo. Do you know anything about her?

Maybe ask people who know more about her.

I'm just giving my Secret Santa a gift card. She's a 45 ish yr old lady. I literally don't know what to get her.

thats the worst gift you can givet as a secret santa (besides no gift) we have a rule at our job that no gift cards are allowed.

I'm also involved in a White Elephant at work ($30 max).

I copped a bluetooth speaker + 4 pairs of Uniqlo socks (Christmas colors).

cop her some shiet from bath and body works, go to yankee candle and cop some candles. Cmon man put a little effort

All I know about her is that she's plus sized, tall, chill and laid back and she has grown kids in college

Oh, and she's up for a promotion but idk how that helps with my secret santa lol

*edit

And don't worry starting 2018 my time and attendance will be near perfect. It's the only way that work will reimburse my grad school tuition lol

We actually made a list of things we want.
The person I got put down gift cards

Your Secret Santa sounds boring af
My family doesn't believe in gift cards -- we just give out $100 bills in envelopes every Christmas
My best Christmas was $900

My extended family did the same thing....
I loved Christmas growing up.

I'm going to take gil's advice and go to bath and body works. Not today though. My bum *** is staying home

All this gift card bashing. :smh: I completely understand and (for the most part) agree that gift cards are boring/uninspired. But...I would always rather get a gift card to anywhere than get a gift I wouldn't use.

So as dude suggested....What if you did go to Bath & Body Works and grabbed some random lotions? People are mad picky (especially women) with what 'products' they use. Not likely you'd get the ones she'd want. And what if she don't like candles? Just because the gift is more 'thoughtful' does not mean it's better.
