the thread about nothing...

Just give a gift receipt with your gift so they can return if they don't like it. Gift cards are awful

Anybody ever sell anything on Grailed before? How was the experience

100% positive experiences for me
No issues in 150+ deals
But I'm very anal about it
Sending pics of the items + package when being sent out + tracking + follow-up when they get it

First Christmas for my lady and I in our own place. Definitely more into the Christmas spirit this year.

All this gift card bashing. :smh: I completely understand and (for the most part) agree that gift cards are boring/uninspired. But...I would always rather get a gift card to anywhere than get a gift I wouldn't use.

So as dude suggested....What if you did go to Bath & Body Works and grabbed some random lotions? People are mad picky (especially women) with what 'products' they use. Not likely you'd get the ones she'd want. And what if she don't like candles? Just because the gift is more 'thoughtful' does not mean it's better.

True. But a gift card/cash will almost always be better than a gift from a utilitarian standpoint. You can wait and see if a product will go on sale, maybe a newer one will come out, etc. The recipient might not even have anything in mind and just hold the gift card for a while. I hate giving gift cards
