Anyone else NOT going to their company holiday party? I'm the only minority at my job, plus it's at a beer manufacturer.... In January. No thanks.

I'm not, and I don't feel bad about it either. I go to our main building 2-3 times a month. I used to be there more frequently, but less so since I've moved to a different office. I barely see all of my co workers, and when I do see them I say hello/good morning every time I see them. Sometimes, I get a response, sometimes, not. Usually not. I don't feel like faking the funk for a few hours to speak with people that barely acknowledge me any other time of the year. Those that I am cool with, I have good one on one relationships and they know who I am. It's more to it than just that, but that's a small piece, I ain't writing a book here lol.
