Hate using my credit card. I only use it for bills and pay it off before the statement generates. There's been times though where my debit card (with my old bank) had such a horrible quality magnetic strip and it would fade within a few months so I'd be getting McDonald's or I'm at Walmart and the card declines so then I used my CC.

i use fold $10-$20 bill very thinly on my beater shoes and put it beneath the insoles their was one instance where i left my wallet and phone at home. went into my shoe. Low and behold $20 was there in emergency that i was in.
sometimes if i go for a run i do the same but i put like $5 dollars, just enough to buy some food and Gatorade.
i have aslo have "no name" bank where i just send money to every time i get a new side gig job, i usually send $200+ to depending, i don't even look at it. Its been there for 2 years so far i check it annually. Allows me control my seeding and increase my savings.
(My good friend told me about this and applied it to my life)
Gotta realize money is just tool. Gotta know how that tool properly imo.
