the thread about nothing...

I've recently started eating more apples, bananas for snacks, eating more brown rice (and less white rice) for meals, cut out second servings, cut out soft drinks, cut out sweets, drinkin almost all water, and gotta say.....
No weight loss yet but I feel less sluggish during the day. I forgot for a good minute how it felt like to have more even energy.

Yeah, I rememember when I went vegetarian 3 years ago and started doing similar things. Crazy how fast I dropped weight and how much more energetic I became. I always debate on going back to that lifestyle, but my schedule just does not make it very conducive at all.

It be like that sometimes lol...I hope your feeling better.
Tell me about it haha. Yeah I am good. Just need to get home and make this curry ramen I got the stuff for a couple days ago.

It's hard to eat right. Healthy food is more expensive and it's harder to eat that on the go. Like I have to take the time to go grocery shopping and pre-make my salads. It's annoying.

Just build the habits. If you are already pre making salads, go ahead and prep the other stuff too. Especially if you have the cookwear for it. Make everything in bluk and portion it out. saves a ton of time.

I rarely eat out these days. Cooking and meal prepping is actually fun, and cheaper in the long run.

When you live In a city like new york, the options of eating anything is so easily accessible, from good to bad just gotta have that self control with your vices.

I agree making your own food is far better option than buying street, but when you live in the fast lane that is NYC, you don't wanna slow yourself down by cooking your own meals and get that instant gratification from buying any meal at the whim, this is all from my personal experience though.
