I'm not sure if they were purged but the last few years they have given opportunities to different people, which is why there experiencing a resurgence in non retro stuff (especially in basketball)
I've always respected the artistry and effort it took for customs but I was never a fan of them to be honest. Those alligator joints you posted are cool but I cant really see myself actually buying and wearing them (regardless of price). I respect it though, just customs were never for mei'll have to agree with his opinion, just cause people shoe surgeon is reinventing the game with customs, and not ordinary customs, hi-premium customs that beat the brand GR/Limited versions themselves. Those alligator black/red 1s is too serious, make the flyknit version look like cheap puma sneaker. Like seriously this alligator ish is stupid fire, compared to flyknits
In terms of hyped sneakers you may have a point but he's done way too much to be considered that. I mean he's done other shoes besides either of his SB Dunks. As far as I know he's an actual designer while the categories you mentioned are just social media celebrities
