the thread about nothing...

:lol :rollin

It's because of that new law called Fosta that went into affect last week. People who run websites are held accountable now by feds for what posters post on their websites, so meth and company can actually get in trouble with feds if their posters post about illicit activities
I just want to point for the record that I don't condone anything. All I participate in are G rated activities.

And if you see any foolish talk in my personal history, someone hacked me

:lol:They probably cleaning the TAY thread out as we speak, probably like 5 post away from just saying **** it and deleting the whole thread

Same here. When I say I have heat in my car, don't assume drugs or guns. It might be hot pockets. It might me pop tarts, or other snack paraphernalia
It doesn't do anyone any good if the site is threatened or shut down due to individual abuses. It's the staff's responsibility to protect the community and to ensure that NikeTalk remains a good actor in this space. If there's no guard rail, we're not even going to get close to the precipice. It would be irresponsible for us to do otherwise.

If anyone wants to tempt fate, do it someplace else. We've put over 18 years worth of work into this community. Discussing/promoting illegal activities has always been against our forum rules, but we're now essentially required to operate on a zero tolerance basis.

All this cute "I didn't mean what you think I meant" stuff is not a workaround. It's up to you to ensure that your posts can't be misconstrued to imply any promotion of or participation in illegal activities - especially sex crimes/trafficking. Think of it like making bomb jokes at the airport. We're obligated to take it seriously, and you WILL lose access, even on a first offense.

We need to make it absolutely clear that we will not allow NikeTalk to be abused to promote or in any way facilitate criminal acts.

Can' t hate on Meth, he got to do what he gotta do.
Thanks for understanding. We're doing our best to ensure that NikeTalk remains online for all of us to enjoy, but we need everyone's support and cooperation in order for that to happen.

Better to shut down one or two threads than all of them - but we don't need to shut down this thread at all if we receive the cooperation necessary for us to feel confident that all posts here are in compliance with our policies and the law. The easiest thing for us to do would be to preemptively shut down any thread that we believe poses an elevated risk. I’d rather not take that step unless it’s clear that a thread’s participants are unwilling to help care for the thread.

Just saw his post in TAY. I remember he gave a really short summary of it in here. Is that the illegal activity that got him banned though? And wouldn't he be banned from that thread and not TAN? And why didn't he get a warning like alchemist? So many questions lol
He was banned from both threads.
